his glass work was fucking crazy. he made some glass orchids that were exactly like the real ones, and the way the figures were scattered throughout the botanical gardens was very cool.
I'll get her to post some of her Chihuly pix from his show at the Botanical gardens...

Chiluly is pretty good too...he had an exhibit here during the winter olympics...pretty damn nice.
on a side note, that was the best thing about the olympics: the so-called "cultural olympics" that ran with it. we saw two operas, a play, enjoyed a symphony, saw the Chiluly exhibit and got to see Savion Glover dance. awesome stuff.
i'm sure they had a similar thing in ATL in '96.
